Firewalls are an attempt at helping to protect your computer from unauthorised access and usage from third parties. These third parties, call them hackers (in the loosest sense) or crackers , are always finding new and more up to date techniques in obtaining their objectives.
These series of articles are as up to date as can be at the time of writing but you should be aware of the fast pace in the world of security and firewalls. Therefore you should always consult the various software companies and visit their websites regularly in order to keep up to date and to have the latest information available to you.
We can not therefore guarantee the accuracy of the information published here by the time you read this, but we will try to keep updates as regular as possible. You might find the links page relative to these articles useful.
