About miniTutorials

Whats it all about?

miniTutorials started off as a personal repository back in 2002. It was meant to be a backup of information of all (or most) things I have done with regards to installations and configurations of various programs.

Mainly concerned with Server related stuff, such as Apache, PHP, MySQL, FTP and Mail Servers, it was always the intention that my experiences should be shared amongst the web community. My tutorials are - hopefully! - presented in a plain English easy to follow way that otherwise advanced and often difficult or out of reach programs and utilities, are accessible to even the newest of newcomers to both the internet and computing in general.

miniTutorials has grown over the last few years and has become a very popular and handy resource for beginners and experts alike to visit and learn some new concepts or techniques.

With the opening of the main miniTutorials Forums Boards in August 2003 a new avenue of information immediatly available to the visitor was born. Intended as an avenue to contact me with any queries or difficulties arising from any of my tutorials, it has grown into a true community of regular members who think nothing of stopping and helping those with any web or computer related problem.

Thanks for listening.
